Work as an Athletic Trainer for an Athletic Trainer

Whether you are working with JSOH as an employee or independent contractor, you will be covered under the JSOH professional liability insurance policy. We always encourage you to have your own policy as well, but you will be included on our roster either way.

Our medical director is Dr. Terry Fenwick.  When working per diem events specifically, an AT must have proof of standing orders signed by a physician. By working with JSOH, we have cut out that step for you as you will be working as part of our network whether you are hired as employee or independent contractor.

If you are working a per diem event, lunch is provided for shifts longer than 8 hours and lodging is provided for ATs traveling longer than 1 hour from the event site.

We provide you with a JSOH kit and supplies. Of course, if you have your own kit that you prefer to use--that is totally fine, however, we've got you covered.

We will teach you how to get the most out of your career. I will be your biggest supporter and I will be committed to learning with and from you.  Questions about CEU reporting? Ask away! Want to discuss a weird injury or case? Hit me up and we will learn together! Questions about how to handle tough conversations with a coach--I want to hear them. If you choose to be an independent contractor, we will teach you our system of mileage tracking, tracking expense write offs, and can send you references for our preferred accountants and business professionals. When you are on team JSOH, we learn together and we grow together.

When you join team JSOH, we are your number one advocate. We work with our clients, schools, clubs, etc to make sure your needs are met. We organize sites, times, lunches, lodging, pay--so that all you have to do is show up to be an athletic trainer.
