Per-diem event coverage available statewide. If your school, club, or tournament isn’t on this wall yet — let’s talk about your season.

What Coverage Includes

Everything a Sideline Should Have.

An athletic trainer on site changes what happens in the seconds after an injury — and in the weeks that follow. JSOH coverage means every game, practice, and tournament has a licensed clinical professional whose only job is your athletes.

Heat and heads. The two conversations every athletic department is having this year.

These are the two risks that define a season. Exertional heat illness is survivable when it’s recognized in minutes — and a sideline concussion decision follows an athlete for years. This is exactly why an athletic trainer is standing there.

Game & Tournament Coverage

Single games, full seasons, weekend tournaments, and multi-field events — staffed by licensed, certified athletic trainers operating under standing orders through JSOH.

Concussion Assessment & Return-to-Play

Sideline concussion evaluation, removal-from-play decisions, and structured return-to-play progressions that protect athletes and the adults responsible for them.

Heat Illness Monitoring

Practice and event-day heat safety: environmental monitoring, hydration protocols, and rapid recognition of exertional heat illness before it becomes an emergency.

Emergency Action Planning

Venue-specific emergency action plans, coordination with local EMS, and an on-site professional trained to run the plan when seconds matter.

Injury Evaluation & Rehabilitation

Orthopedic evaluation of strains, sprains, and overuse injuries, with rehabilitation and exercise prescription that gets athletes back safely — not just quickly.

Training Room & Staff Care

Onsite training room hours for student-athletes, plus care models that can extend to school staff and faculty — the same relationship model in place at our partner schools today.

JSOH athletic therapy includes thorough examination, diagnosis, treatment, and return-to-play guidance for orthopedic and sports injuries — from strains and sprains to concussions, tendinopathies, and low back pain. Treatment options include manual therapy, dry needling, cupping therapy, and exercise prescription.

The Partnership Model

We Don’t Hand You a Package. We Build You a Partnership.

Big hospital-system staffing programs tell schools what coverage they’re getting. JSOH starts by listening. Every partnership begins with a conversation — and no two end up looking the same, because no two schools are the same.

01 · THE CONVERSATION

We Learn You First.

Brandy sits down with your administration to understand the culture and climate of your organization. No services get pitched until we understand you.

02 · THE SCOPE

Defined Together.

Together, we determine what coverage actually fits: which sports, which seasons, which events, which training-room hours.

03 · THE PRICE

Priced to Your Scope.

Not a bundled minimum. Not services you didn’t ask for. You pay for the coverage you helped design.

04 · THE MATCH

The Right AT for Your Climate.

We match the athletic trainer — or trainers — whose strengths fit your school’s culture and needs. Not whoever’s next on a rotation.

Led From the Sideline, Not From an Office.

Brandy Ramaj Jewett has been an athletic trainer since 2015, working across high school athletics, collegiate athletics, per-diem event coverage, industrial settings, and the clinic. She is the Head Athletic Trainer at Washington High School — and she is on a sideline nearly every week of every season.

Every athletic trainer in the JSOH network works under that same standard: doctorate-level clinical oversight, real accountability for outcomes, and a leader who is in the trenches with them — not managing from a distance.

Athletic Trainers — We’re Hiring

Work as an Athletic Trainer for an Athletic Trainer.

No one knows athletic training like an athletic trainer. Join a network led by a practicing AT who understands the rugged reality of this profession — and who is walking beside you pulling, not pushing.

JSOH athletic trainers at a covered event
  • Extra hours that actually add up. Paying down loans, building your resume, or both — event coverage pays you to do the work you got into this profession to do. Single games, tournaments, or full seasons, on your schedule.
  • Standing orders provided. Work covered events under physician standing orders through JSOH from day one.
  • An advocate, not just an employer. JSOH works directly with schools, clubs, and event organizers to make sure your working conditions are right.
  • Independent contractor support. Mileage tracking, expense write-off systems, and referrals to trusted accountants and business professionals.
  • Grow your practice. CEU guidance, case consults on tough injuries, and mentorship on the conversations no one teaches you — with coaches, parents, and administrators.

Requirements: current ATC certification and Indiana LAT licensure (or eligibility). New grads welcome — we train to the standard.
